Utilization of Dry Calcium Based Flue Gas Desulfurization Waste as a Hazardous Waste Fixation Agent

includes materials such as waste oil, solvents, and some boiler cleaning fluids which have a heating value. There is at least one boilcleaning product that has a positive heating value. During the boiler cleaning process, the fluid is collected in a temporary storage tank, after the cleaning process is completed it is reinjected into the boiler as essentially an additional heat input to the boiler. That type of information is going to have to be much further developed and presented to the Agency. This is the type of information we're going to have to develop and present to the Agency as well as what the waste products are or what that process does to the fly ash and bottom ash generated in that boiler during that particular operation. My own feeling is that we will find no effect, but we're going to have to develop that information.
